Adult Classes

Whether you are an enthusiastic beginner who always wanted to make art, or an accomplished artist, The Studio School has something for you. Fundamental classes in drawing and painting help you get the basics and understand what you have to say as an individual and how to express that in visual terms.

Intermediate and advanced classes allow you to explore new media and try “what if ?” as a challenge to your creativity. And the creative force is what we celebrate.

Also note that there are many 3-D classes to include the art of fine crafts or allow for just plain fun.

Weather Policy: If Roanoke City Schools are: Delayed 1 hour, morning classes are delayed 1 hour. Delayed 2 hours, morning classes are canceled. Canceled, all our classes are canceled. Evening classes are canceled if bad weather persists or becomes more hazardous during the afternoon hours.
